What type of hearing loss and people can implants help?

Implants can help people who:

• have moderate to profound hearing loss in both ears
• have profound hearing loss in one ear with normal hearing in the other ear
• receive little or no benefit from hearing aids
• score 65% or less on sentence recognition tests done by hearing professional in the ear to be implanted

From candidacy assessments, referral pathways, travel, accommodation, surgery, switch on and mapping services, we will be with you every step of the journey.

Where can implants be undertaken?

Clarity Hearing Solutions also have a choice of three locations where the implant surgery can take place convenient to you – Brisbane, Gold Coast or Townsville (and now Mackay for Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (BAHA)). And the switch on can take place at any of our clinics Queensland-wide.
